Terms and conditions: The London PharmaClinic at Clinichem Pharmacy

1. Who we are. The London PharmaClinic is the private clinic name of Clinichem Ltd (company number 06517189), which operates a GPhC-registered pharmacy (registration number 1097986). In these terms, “we” and “us” means Clinichem Ltd and “you” means the patient.

2. Our services. We provide private pharmacist-led consultations and, where clinically appropriate, prescribing and supply of medicines. Services are delivered in person at our pharmacy and remotely by video. Booking a consultation does not guarantee that you will be prescribed any medicine.

3. Eligibility. You must be 18 or over and resident in the UK. Some services have additional clinical criteria, explained on the service page. We may decline to provide a service if it is not safe or appropriate for you.

4. Consultation and verification. You agree to give complete and accurate information. For weight-management treatment we will:

  • check your identity;
  • verify your weight, height and BMI independently, by video consultation, in person or from your clinical records;
  • ask for your GP’s details.

We do not prescribe on the basis of an online questionnaire alone. Giving false information may put your health at risk and will end your treatment with us.

5. Prescribing decisions. All prescribing decisions are made by a registered prescriber using their professional judgement, national guidance and your individual needs. The prescriber may decide that a medicine is not suitable, recommend a different option or refer you to your GP or another service.

6. Sharing information with your GP. For weight-management medicines and other medicines where it is needed for safe care, we will share details of your treatment with your GP. If you do not consent to this, we will not be able to prescribe those medicines for you.

7. Fees and payment. Consultation fees are shown on our prices page and are payable when you book. The price of any medicine will be confirmed only after the prescriber has decided it is suitable, and before you pay for it. All prices include VAT where it applies.

8. Cancellations and refunds.

  • You can cancel a consultation free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment, and we will refund you in full. For later cancellations or missed appointments, the fee is not refundable.
  • If we decide not to prescribe after a consultation, the consultation fee is not refunded, because the clinical service has been provided. Any amount you paid for medicine will be refunded in full.
  • Your 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to medicines that have been dispensed for you. These are made to your individual prescription and, for safety reasons, cannot be returned or resupplied. If you ask us to provide a consultation within the 14-day period, you accept that you lose the right to cancel once the consultation has been carried out.

9. Supply, collection and delivery. Medicines are dispensed by our pharmacy. You collect them in person / we deliver them using a tracked, temperature-appropriate service to the address you give us. We will tell you how to store your medicine. Please tell us straight away if anything arrives damaged or is missing.

10. Ongoing treatment and monitoring. Continued supply depends on regular reviews, which include updated weight checks and side-effect monitoring. We may pause or stop supply if a review is not completed or if continuing is not clinically safe.

11. Your data. We handle your personal and health information in line with UK GDPR and our privacy notice. Our ICO registration number is Z2267789.

12. Complaints. Please contact hello@thelondonpharmaclinic.co.uk or ask to speak to the Superintendent Pharmacist. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to resolve it within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied, you can raise a concern with the General Pharmaceutical Council. For NHS services, you can also contact the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.

13. Liability. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

14. Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one in force when you book.

15. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
